This Sunday, January 24, at 2:00 p.m.
All ages Welcome!

John Robinson has no hands. His arms stop at his elbows. His legs stop before his knees. He is 3’9” tall. Born a congenital amputee, his parents wondered if he would ever be able to hold a pencil, let alone go to school or land a job. In his new book, Get Off Your Knees, Robinson discusses the many physical and emotional obstacles he has overcome to live the kind of normal life most people take for granted. Whether he had to figure out how to dress himself or deal with his family’s struggle to accept his condition, Robinson never gave up.
His story is pure inspiration.
On Sunday, January 24th at 2pm he's making a very special visit to Words, Maplewood’s Bookstore and the Maplewood community to give a frank, touching, and deeply humbling talk about his determination, book, and quest to redefine life as a "disabled" person.
Arrive early; start your new year off right, inspired.
